Yes. Your license allows activation on up to 3 devices (desktop + laptop + 1 spare for reinstalls). Deactivate a slot from one PC to free it for another any time.

Yes. Chat history, memories, diary and preferences live encrypted in your user folder — we don't have any servers and literally cannot see your data. If you use a cloud provider (xAI/OpenRouter), your messages go directly to them under their privacy policy. If you use Ollama, NOTHING leaves your PC — Ashley is fully offline.
